If a car transmission is not functioning properly, it can cause a variety of symptoms. A car transmission can fail due to a number of different issues, such as a broken seal or missing gear teeth. If the car is moving and the transmission cannot keep up with the speed, it will cause problems. In some cases, the car may start to slip or shake erratically.

There are a few things you'll need to repair a car transmission: A transmission fluid drain pan, a transmission filter (or cleanable unit), and an O-ring. First, remove the transmission fluid drain pan by unscrewing the bolt that holds it on.

Next, use a funnel to pour all of the old transmission fluid into a container. Finally, screw the drain pan back on and reattach the bolt.

Next, place the Transmission Filter or Cleanable Unit on top of the pan. If there is debris in the old transmission fluid, you will need to clean it out before using the new fluid. Use a wire brush or an abrasive pad to scrub until all of the debris is gone. Finally, replace the o-ring if necessary. Pour in fresh transmission fluid and replace any seals if needed.
