Types of Army Tents

The 5-pole tent is a little bigger than the pup tent and has five poles instead of four. It is also slightly more expensive than the pup tent. The 8-pole tent is the largest and most expensive type of army tent. It has eight poles instead of five and is much more durable than the other two types of tents.

1. A Clam-Shell Tent is a lightweight tent that's made mostly of waterproof fabric. It's easy to set up and can be used in a variety of conditions, including rain and wet weather.

2. An A-Frame Tent is made from sturdy steel poles that are connected by fabric panels. This type of tent is perfect for cold weather or windy conditions, as it offers good protection from the elements.

3. A Duplex Tent features two rooms – one for sleeping and one for living – that are separated by a door. The advantage of a duplex tent is that you can easily share the space with other soldiers without having to compete for beds.

4. An Oval Tent is shaped like an upside-down oval and is perfect for groups of soldiers who need more space than a standard tent can provide.

5. A Tentsile Tent is made from strong fabric that's resistant to moisture and sunlight. This type of tent is perfect for use in hot climates or during rainfall events.
